Policeauctions.com Review – Does Anyone Have Any Complaints About Policeauctions.com

Auction afficianados will be disappointed when they hear that www.policeauctions.com has nothing to do with municipal police departments. Everyone attends auctions to save some money and score some great deals. While there are deals to be had at just about any auction site, a more popular choice is using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding good deals online.

Policeauctions.com does offer some good deals (some of which to be very good and other seem to do nothing but complain about the auctions) but they do not offer auction items from municipal entities as the name implies.

Policeauctions.com Reviews - The Inventory

Reviewing the inventory left me bored. Most of the inventory was jewelry and loose gem stones. There was an “emerald” up for auction that was advertised as being 236 cwt. In the fine print there was a disclaimer that stated color and shape/size may vary. I wondered exactly how much does the color size and shape vary. I am just not sure how many 236 cwt emeralds there are in the world.

There are other categories listed on the left side of the landing page but the balance between jewelry and other items was non existent. For example there were over 1200 items listed in the jewelry category and 3 items listed in Camera/Photo. There were 62 items listed under the Fine Art category.

Policeauctions.com Complaints - The Real Deal

There are several sites online that do cater to municipalities that are auctioning off surplus, this is not one of those sites. After reading several consumer reviews (some of which are negative) that ranged from complaints about the products all the way to actual filed complaints with the BBB.

Here are a few reviews we found online:

New items, authentic descriptions, $1.00 auctions, 2-day delivery and refunds available. I've never been disappointed. You don't get ripped-off like with other auction sites” Sitejabber

Whether these sites are legit or not the risk is always there like any other auction site.If the cost is the main issue here, I guess ebay is the best in terms of customer protection. Why risk your hard earned money for couple of hundred dollars?” Scam.com

The auctions seemed legit enough but the prices were not that low on the winning auctions and the items were nothing to write home to mom about. It was difficult to find the companies contact information which kind of bothers me.

Overall, the Policeauctions.com review shows this to be a legit site and not a scam with only a few complaints. However most people still prefer using a service like Auctionresource.org for finding good deals online.
